Diego Mallada

Telecommunications Engineer with a specialty in Communications from the University of Zaragoza. Master of Science in Computer Science from the Carlos III University and Master in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence from the Instituto de Empresa (IE).
Diego Mallada combines his role as Director of Digital Technology at Gestamp with teaching at several universities and business schools on topics of Big Data, IoT, Business Intelligence, Software, Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship.
He is also the Technology Manager of the IndesIA consortium in which Gestamp is a founding partner. The multidisciplinary technical team he leads at Gestamp develops the software products and platforms related to the company’s strategy in the field of Industry 4.0, Data and AI, which are used by the group’s plants globally.
