Geprom Stands Out at the IoT Solutions World Congress 2023 with Its Industry 4.0 Solutions

Last week, Geprom showcased its solutions at the IoT Solutions World Congress, an international event that has become a key reference in the field.

Dario Cesena, CEO of Geprom, presented a session titled “Efficiency Improvement at Seat.” The conference, which attracted 70% of attendees, discussed the main technological solutions and success stories of Geprom in terms of Smart Factory, highlighting the digitalization of the SEAT Martorell and SEAT Barcelona factories using the Legato Sapient production control and management platform.

“SEAT is a leading company in Industry 4.0, not only because it has identified digitalization as a great opportunity and transformation involving all departments but because it has turned this into reality in its daily production processes, using the most disruptive technologies and executing specific training plans,” said Dario Cesena.

A key takeaway from the day was the importance of having an automated factory that is ready to apply digital technologies. In this regard, Geprom offers solutions that cover electrical engineering, PLC programming, communication networks, electrical installations, and commissioning of systems. Automation is the key to managing the massive amounts of data generated by machines, workshops, factories, customers, and suppliers.

“Understanding the benefits of Industry 4.0, viewing digitalization as an opportunity rather than a threat, and keeping the customer in mind at every step of the process are some of the keys to achieving greater flexibility, efficiency, and quality in production,” emphasized the speaker.

Geprom was present at its stand alongside ACCIÓ, showcasing its commitment to factory digitalization and IoT. Hundreds of visitors passed through the stand to interactively learn about Geprom’s solutions and products for tackling the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as the MES Legato Sapient system, which was demonstrated, as well as other innovative products like Digital Shopfloor Manager, Finito ShiftBook, and QDA Software.

The stand also featured on the VIP tour organized by the Mobile World Capital, where Geprom presented a simulation of logistics traffic aimed at virtually replicating processes and studying their behavior to analyze the impact of potential changes and compare alternatives at a lower cost.
